NextGen Fellowship Application

United Way of Northwest Oklahoma’s NextGen Fellowship seeks community-minded leaders who are interested in learning about the United Way, the partner agencies, and the impact of its mission- based work in Northwest Oklahoma. Fellows are expected to attend each of the meetings listed below. All meetings will be held in the evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Pheasant Run, except for the Pillars Dinner and Annual Meeting.

August 20: United Way Pillars Dinner

September 17: The Crosswalk of Non-Profits’ Work and the United Way’s Impact

October 22: Childcare and Education Services In our Community

January 21: Addressing Financial and Health Issues through Non-Profit Support

March 11: Planning for the Future: A NextGen Strategic Planning Initiative

April (TBD): Graduation/United Way Annual Meeting

Prior to program completion, all fellows must complete a one-on-one mentorship at a Partner Agency of their choosing. Optional volunteer opportunities with United Way and the partner agencies will be offered throughout the program.

Applications for this fellowship are due July 26, 2024.

*Applications must be completed in full to be considered for acceptance.

**A previous donation to the United Way is not required for consideration to this program. We are simply interested in your history and learning how you may have initially become invested in the United Way's work.
