United Way of Enid & Northwest Oklahoma is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to improving lives in our region. We partner with local agencies, support vital programs, and help meet urgent needs in health, education, and financial stability.
Community Resilience is important to United Way. We want Enid, OK to prosper, so we work with our neighbors to build resilient communities that are more connected, supportive and ready to respond to any challenge. One way we work toward Community Resiliency is through partner agencies like The Salvation Army of Enid.
Financial Security is one key part of building a Thriving United Way. The United Way empowers our community financially by helping people earn more, keep more, and plan for a better future—while strengthening the systems that support them. All dollars raised in our community stay in our community. Our key fundraising events go toward keeping these agencies financially secure, so that they can continue to serve the most vulnerable.
Youth Opportunity is an important piece of our impact here at United Way. We want all kids to soar. So, we work with the people who care for them — from families and neighbors, to schools and community agencies — to connect young people with the support they need.
A Healthy Community is important to us. Everyone should be able to make healthy choices for themselves and their families, but there can be lots of barriers to overcome. United Way’s partnerships with local groups expand access to nutritious food and quality healthcare, education and services.
A couple of ways that we seek to meet this need in our community is through our partnership agencies: The Salvation Army of Northwest Oklahoma and Loaves and Fishes of Northwest Oklahoma.
